Modify Maximum File Size for Uploads

Out of the box, SharePoint 2007 (WSS 3.0) has a default of 50mb per file maximum. In order to modify that, follow these procedures on the server that is running SharePoint:

1. Click Start --> All Programs --> Administrative Tools --> SharePoint Central Administration
2. When you are in the Central Administration page, click on Application Management
3. Under the header SharePoint Web Application Management, click on Web Application General Settings
4. In there is the Maximum Upload Size
